Thanks so much for all the well wishes and calls. There have been a few unexpected meals that are GREATLY appreciated too. We got home about 1:30 on Thursday morning. What a night. As I said before our Embassy appointment went well, but we had a scare and didn’t get our VISA until Wednesday right before we left. (which is unusual, we should have gotten it on Tuesday afternoon). God worked it all out and all the trials we had to go through to get our son home are well worth it. Even now I look back and think it wasn’t that bad. Lucas’ first day at home he turned 9 months old. What a sweet baby he is. Kennedy is not jealous of Lucas, but of everyone else getting to hold him. She wants to all the time. She thinks she should be able to feed him, rock him, and do all the mommy things. The big girls continue to be great with him as they were in Guatemala. They loved flying and thought the country was great even though they were ready to come home to some sweet tea! We all missed that, of all things! It was a great trip, but I am so glad that this part of our journey is complete. We are still praying for quite a few of our friends that are still in the process. We were able to spend lots of time with our 1 year old cousin that is being adopted from down there. That was a sweet blessing. The family that is taking care of her is GREAT and so hospitable! We felt so at home with them and in their home. We are now trying to figure out what normal feels like with a baby and 4 kids. Thankfully Tim doesn’t go back to work until Monday and his hours have shifted so that he doesn’t have to go to work so early and will be able to help me in the mornings for the first time since we have had children. This will be so helpful when I go back to work in a few weeks. We have been reflecting and amazed at how far God has brought us in this 9 month journey. He is worthy of all our praise. Thanks for checking on us and praying with us. We appreciate it and you! I’ll post pictures again when I go out and get more batteries for my camera!
